The Legs-and-Glutes Duo: Foam Roller and Peanut Massage Ball

Roll the length. Pin the spot.

A roller is brilliant for the long stretches and hopeless at the small ones. A ball is the other way round. Together they cover a lot of ground. The 30 cm EVA foam roller takes the back of your thigh and your calf, one slow pass at a time. The peanut ball settles into a glute, a calf or an arch and stays put while you lean in. Nothing to charge, and your own weight sets the pressure. A free 10-minute routine guide shows you where both go. Choose a Pink or Black roller.

A roller for the long muscles: lay a thigh or a calf along it and roll slowly. One pass covers a stretch of muscle that a ball would need ten moves to reach.
A ball for the small spots: two 8 cm ends joined by a waist, so it settles into a glute, a calf or an arch instead of shooting away when you lean on it.
30 cm of EVA foam: a roller long enough for a whole thigh or calf, with room to spare. Stand it against a wall or slide it into a cupboard when you're done.
No gym needed: a mat or a patch of carpet is all the space you need. No bench, no membership, no setup.
You set the pressure: light or firm is up to you, by how much weight you give the roller and how much you lean on the ball.
Nothing to charge: an EVA foam roller and an EPP foam ball, all manual. No battery, no noise, no plug.
A routine for both: the free Light Touch guide gives you 10 minutes, with a page on rolling the legs and glutes: before you train, after, and the day after.
Pink or Black: pick the roller in the color you'd like in the living room. The peanut ball is black with teal flecks in both.

Why this pair, and not one more roller

A foam roller on its own is a simple tool and you can find one anywhere. The trouble is what it can't do. It rolls well along a thigh and a calf, and it struggles to hold a glute or settle under the arch of a foot. A peanut ball does the opposite. It sits still on the floor and lets you lean into one place, but it's slow work for a whole hamstring. Put the two together and you have a long stroke and a precise one. The roller does the length of the muscle. The ball stays on the spot you want. That's the reason these two go together, and it's why we sell them as a pair.

How to use them

The roller: sit on the floor with your leg straight, the roller under the back of your thigh, hands behind you for support. Lift your hips a little and roll slowly from just above the knee toward the seat, then back. For a calf, rest it across the roller and do the same with the leg straight. The peanut ball: sit with it under one side of your glute and shift gently, or rest a calf across it and roll slowly from the ankle toward the knee. Keep the pressure light to start, move slowly and spend a minute or two at most on one area. Stay on soft muscle: not on the spine itself, the lower back, the neck, a joint or a bony area, and not on skin that is sore, swollen or broken.

Free with your order: Light Touch, a 10-minute routine for both tools

Plenty of people end up with a roller and a ball and no idea where to start, so we wrote the guide. Light Touch is a PDF, sent to your email after your order. It splits your ten minutes into three moments (2 minutes before you train, 5 after, 3 the day after) and shows on a body map where to work and where to leave well alone. A page on rolling the legs and glutes puts the roller on the back of the thigh and the calf, and the peanut ball on the glute. A 7-day starter plan finishes it off. It's yours to keep whether or not you use the tools every day.

Choose your roller color

The EVA foam roller comes in Pink or Black, so pick the one that looks right next to your sofa or in your cupboard. The peanut ball is the same in both: black with Blue (teal) flecks.

Good to know: two parcels

The roller and the peanut ball come from different suppliers, so each ships in its own tracked parcel and they can arrive on different days. You'll get tracking for both. The duo ships to the UK, the US and Canada.

What's in the set?

One EVA foam roller in Pink or Black and one peanut massage ball in black with Blue (teal) flecks, plus the free Light Touch guide as a PDF by email.

When do I use which?

The roller is for the longer muscles: the back of the thigh and the calf. The peanut ball is for smaller spots on the floor: a glute, a calf or the sole of a foot.

Does the guide cover both?

Yes. The free Light Touch guide has a page on rolling the legs and glutes: the roller for the back of the thigh and the calf, and the peanut ball for the glute. It also has a body map and a 7-day starter plan.

Where should I not use them?

Keep both on soft muscle, off the spine itself, the lower back, the neck, joints and bony areas, and off skin that is sore, swollen or broken. If you have an injury or a medical condition, check with your doctor first.

How hard should I press?

Lighter than you think. Start gentle, keep moving, and spend a minute or two at most on one area. If it's sharp or it hurts, ease off.

Can I choose the colors?

You choose the roller: Pink or Black. The peanut ball is the same black with Blue (teal) flecks in both.

Will both parcels arrive together?

Probably not. They ship from different suppliers, each in its own tracked parcel, so they can arrive on different days. We send tracking for both.

Where do you deliver?

The duo ships to the UK, the US and Canada.

How do I get the free guide?

Light Touch is sent as a PDF link to the email you gave at checkout after your order. Read it on your phone or print the one-page routine card.

How long does delivery take, and what if something's wrong?

Each parcel is tracked and usually takes 4 to 7 days to the UK, 6 to 11 to the US and 7 to 12 to Canada. If an item arrives faulty, damaged or wrong, get in touch and we'll refund you without needing it back. Otherwise you have 30 days from delivery to ask for a return, with return postage paid by you.
